We chose to have an intimate wedding in a relaxed environment. Mandala Winery of Dixon’s Creek was the perfect venue with it’s spacious rooms and surrounding grounds, it allowed ourselves and our guests to freely move around to interact with all other guests. Our wedding was simple but a beautiful evening, a game of bocce was being played while people were relaxing on the outside lawn with an iPod compiled of our guests favourite songs playing in the background.

The design of the invitations was inspired by a number of things, first being a Chinese tradition that 2 people that are meant to be together are joined by a thread at birth, when they grow up the thread gradually shortens until one day they come together. The other is the floral pattern taken from bridesmaids dresses with the birds and trees to symbolise our love for all things nature. Wedding photography by Glen Nelson - www.gjnphotography.com.au
